The most current version of this privacy policy will govern your online and/or offline access and use of iplaud.com, including but not limited to all full and mobile Internet websites and mobile applications (apps), tools, APIs, services, products, applications and/or platforms that are owned and operated by Plawdit LLC (a/k/a "iPlaud" "iplaud" "IPLAUD" and/or "iplaud.com") and/or its successors and assigns (collectively "iPlaud" "iplaud.com" "iplaud" "IPLAUD" "Plawdit" "company" "we" "us" or "our"). By accessing and/or using iPlaud, you (collectively "you" "your" "yourself") expressly accept, acknowledge and/or agree to be bound by our most up-to-date privacy policy and Terms and Conditions of Service, hereby incorporated by reference into and made a part of this agreement, which we, in our sole discretion, may be updated and/or modified from time to time.

iPlaud makes it easy and fun for you to share all things that you consider to be the best. Because your posts may be viewed, shared, accessed, forwarded and collected by and among any and/or all iPlaud and non-iPlaud members, we strongly encourage you to exercise good judgment and caution when posting and/or uploading any information, images, data or commentary. iPlaud assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever with respect to any and/or all of your posts/plaudits, including without limitation your chats, asks, responses, messages and/or activities concerning iPlaud.
If you are under age 15, please do not attempt to sign up for an account on iPlaud. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under age 15, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have information from a person under age 15, please contact us immediately.
When you sign up for an iPlaud account, we require you to provide a password and your email address. We may also ask for your year of birth. This information will not be displayed on our site, however, your email address may be available to your friends and your friends' friends, members you chat with, as well as to those you invite to join iPlaud, those you ask for or request a recommendation from and/or share content with, that is within and/or outside of iplaud.com.
If you believe an unauthorized account has been created depicting you or your likeness, you can request that we remove it by contacting us via the contact us/support link.
We may contact you directly via any contact information provided by you as well as on your iPlaud page via our notifications systems.
We receive information from you and/or about you when you sign-up, use and/or contribute to iPlaud including its social features and functionalities, and/or when you navigate away (or click through) from iPlaud to another site/Internet location for any reason or purpose including, but not limited to, make purchases or commitments ("Your Information"). By using iPlaud and any of our related services, you are consenting to our collection, transfer, storage, and other uses of Your Information.
By signing in to iPlaud, you are agreeing to allow us to publicly display (i) your name, username, profile picture/image/avatar and country; plus, as specified by you (at your election) all other information and data about and/or relating to you, and (ii) the names of members that are following you and/or your plaudits/recommendations or saving/liking your plaudits, as well as the names of those that you're following and/or saving/liking their plaudits.
Your name, profile photo, image and/or avatar together with your plaudits are displayed to your friends, even if you uncheck the box 'display my name & photo with this plaudit'.
iPlaud does not claim any ownership rights to the text, files, links, attachments, chats, images, photos, audio, videos, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, messages, commentary, recommendations, endorsements, likes, asks, chats, your profile photos and/or images, information, data, hyperlinks and their related content, applications, messaging, or any content or any other materials (collectively, "Content") that you publish, post, include, add, save, author and/or display on or via iPlaud. That said by displaying, publishing, viewing, launching, following/tracking anything (e.g., person, business, place, product, service, member, tag, location, demographic, category, or the like), including by adding, saving, including, authoring and/or posting, any Content or thing on or via iPlaud (collectively, "your Content"), you hereby grant to iPlaud a nonexclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, worldwide, license and/or right to: track, use, publicize, commercially exploit and/or sell such data and/or your Content in our sole and absolute discretion, including without limitation to modify, reformat, aggregate, associate or tie/link your recommendation(s) to third parties (e.g., product, service, commercial advertisements, event, place, web content, goods, group, person and/or entity), delete from, add to, publicly perform, publicly display and/or share, post, air, publicize, circulate, broadcast, sell, commercially exploit, translate, reproduce, transfer, transmit or retransmit, disseminate, distribute and/or publish (e.g., directly or indirectly to wider audiences, via third parties or otherwise) your Content (as is, or as modified or reformatted by us), including without limitation distribution or conveyance in whole or in part, together with or apart from all or other content on iplaud.com, in any media formats through any medium or media channels, except for any of your Content that you have designated not to be shared publicly (said exception shall not apply to your Content anonymized by iPlaud that is, if your name has been redacted or removed from your Content by us).
We and/or third parties acting on our behalf collect and store, including through the use of Technologies, the information you submit to or through iPlaud. Among other things, we use this information to fulfill your requests, provide iPlaud functionality, improve iPlaud quality, personalize the member experience, enhance and target our services, display relevant advertising and/or commercial offers, provide member support, message you, back up our systems, allow for disaster recovery, comply with legal obligations, and for our general, broad and/or specific commercial purposes.
We may use technology and/or other methods including, but not limited to, third-party technology and software, cookies, web beacons, flash cookies, pixel tags, local shared objects, and similar technology in connection with your use of iPlaud ("Technologies"). Technologies can be small data files that may have unique identifiers, and reside, among other places, on your computer or mobile device, in emails we send to you, and on our web pages. Technologies may transmit information about you and your use of iPlaud, such as your browser type, search preferences, data relating to advertisements, promotions, offers and the like that have been displayed to you or that you have clicked on, and the date and time of your use. By allowing us to better understand how you interact with iPlaud over time, Technologies help us, our partners and/or affiliates, and third parties improve your experience and deliver more relevant content, advertisements, promotions, offers and the like to you, your friends and iPlaud members. Technologies may be created directly by us for these purposes, or by third-party companies operating on our behalf. Technologies may be used to pass information from the your computer to a third-party website. We may use Technologies to understand how, if and when you use iPlaud, iPlaud traffic, your behavior and response to promotional campaigns, offers, coupons, advertisements, promotions and the like. Technologies are also used as a supplement to our server logs and other methods of traffic and response measurement, and are sometimes used in conjunction with small Javascript-based applications. We may also implement Technologies provided by other companies for the same purpose. We use Technologies in our HTML based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by you. You can disable some (but not all) Technologies in your device or browser settings, but doing so may affect your ability to use iPlaud.
Our servers log information about your use of iPlaud, such as your search activity, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and the businesses you call using our mobile applications. Our servers also log information that your computer or mobile device provides to us in connection with your use of iPlaud, such as your browser type, browser language, IP address, mobile carrier, unique device identifier, location, and requested and referring URLs.
We allow third parties who provide services including advertising to use Technologies, as defined above, in connection with your use of iPlaud. As a result, they may collect and store the same type of information and use it for the same type of purposes as described for iPlaud above, and they may be able to associate the information they collect with other information they have about you from other sources. We do not necessarily have access to or control over the Technologies they use. Nevertheless, you may be able to opt-out of some of their practices by visiting the following links: Network Advertising Initiative, Omniture, and PrivacyChoice. Please note that opting out does not prevent you from receiving advertisements.
IP Addresses are a unique string of numbers that identifies each computer attached to the Internet. We use IP Addresses to analyze trends, administer the iPlaud sites, track your movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP Addresses that we collect are sometimes linked to personally identifiable information. We use registration and email addresses that you provide to us together with IP Addresses and other information we collect as described in this policy, to understand you, our members and our customer base and to market services and products.
To improve the quality of the some of our services, we may supplement the information we collect with information from third parties. For example, if you access my.ign.com or IGN content through third party services (such as Roku or Hulu) through a third-party connection or log-in, we may also collect your user ID and/or user name associated with that third-party service, or any information you have made public in connection with that service or which the third party shares with us.
Some services offered through iPlaud are provided by third parties. We also outsource some of our own functions to third party providers, such as technical and customer support, tracking and reporting functions, quality assurance testing, payment processing functions, and other services. We may share information from or about you with these third party providers so that they can perform their services or complete your requests.
We may share, and/or license or sell member information with or to third parties, such as advertisers and content distributors. For example, we may disclose the number of users that have been exposed to, or clicked on, advertisements, promotional offers, coupons or the like.
We may share information from or about you with subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control, in which case we will require them to honor this Privacy Policy. If another company acquires iPlaud or all or substantially all of our assets, that company will possess the same information, and will assume the rights and obligations with respect to that information as described in this Privacy Policy.
We may investigate and disclose information from or about you if we have a good faith belief that such investigation or disclosure is (a) reasonably necessary to comply with legal process and law enforcement instructions and orders, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, judicial proceeding, or other legal process served on us; (b) helpful to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with iPlaud; or (c) protect our rights, reputation, property, or that of our members, affiliates, or the public.
iPlaud may contain links to unaffiliated third party websites. Except as set forth herein, we do not share your personal information with them, and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We suggest you read the privacy policies on all such third party websites.
If you are logged into another social media service, such as Facebook, and you access but are not logged into iPlaud, we may receive information from such service to make it easier for you to create an account on iPlaud and show you relevant content from/to others. This information personalizes your experience and helps you create an iPlaud account. You can also connect your iPlaud account to your accounts on third party services like Facebook or Twitter, in which case we may collect and store information identifying your account with the third party service. We use the information to help you connect and share public content with your friends and followers.
You can also terminate your iPlaud account by submitting a request via Support. If you terminate your account, we may continue to display your Content and Your Information in anonymized form. We may also keep personal information in our active systems for a period of up to 5 years (or longer if required by law) in order to ensure our ability to satisfy the authorized uses under this Privacy Policy. For example, we may use retained data to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with iPlaud or to comply with legal obligations. Please also note that information may exist in backup storage even after it has been removed from our active databases. If you are terminating a business account, the personal information associated with your account will be removed according to the terms of this Policy. However your business listing will remain visible, including member comments about your business.
By signing in to iPlaud, you are agreeing to allow us in our sole discretion/determination to sell, commercially exploit, translate, reproduce, transfer, transmit or retransmit, disseminate, publicize, otherwise monetize and/or, distribute and/or publish your Content and Your Information, together or separately in whole or in part (including without limitation as modified, edited and/or reformatted by us and/or third parties acting on our behalf) as a component part of any demographic data including without limitation demographic trends that we (and/or third parties acting on our behalf) compile, or otherwise, and in any case, without any compensation to you.
We will respond to requests relating to personal data sent from within the European Union according to the procedures mandated by the member state from where the request is sent. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days.
Please also note that the messages you send or receive using iPlaud are only private to the extent that you and the sender/recipient keep them private.
If you send information from iPlaud to your phone via SMS text message, we may log your phone number, phone carrier, and the date and time that the message was processed.
If, through or in connection with your use of iPlaud, you purchase or commit to purchase third-party and/or iPlaud products or services, we and/or third-party service providers of ours may collect and store billing and payment card (e.g., debit or credit card) information. Said service providers have access to or are provided with certain personal information (including debit and/or credit card information) about you in order to provide us with the applicable service. When shopping on certain of our sites or pages, you may need to provide personally identifiable information necessary to fulfill an online order, including for example name, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, email address, credit or debit card number (with expiration date), and any of the above information needed to send a package to a gift recipient. If you create an account, the credit or debit card information above will not be stored under your account. When placing an order, credit or debit card information may be either temporarily stored on an iPlaud server and then immediately transferred to a secure server of a PCI compliant third party or will be immediately entered onto a secure server of a PCI compliant third party. We partner with a number of third parties to process and fulfill orders, send transactional emails, and ensure delivery of downloads and packages. While these third parties may have access to your personal information in order to perform their duties, they are not permitted to use it for other purposes.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, during transmission, once we receive it and/or during transmission of it to third party service providers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or via mobile device, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot in any way guarantee its absolute security.
You acknowledge and accept that respect to and in connection with your use of iplaud.com, including without limitation your use any of our apps, products, services, platforms, technology, tools and/or APIs, and/or our use of Technologies, you are afforded very little to no privacy protection.

We may revise this privacy policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy shall govern your the use of this site/app and will be made available on iplaud.com. By continuing to access and/or use iPlaud after privacy policy changes are made, you expressly agree to be bound by the revised privacy policy as well as our then-current Terms and Conditions of Service.
